2016-17 Reproductive Justice Fellowship Program

Law Students for Reproductive Justice (LSRJ) seeks applications from current 3Ls and recent law school graduates to work for one year as a Reproductive Justice Federal Fellow at a selected placement organization in Washington, D.C.

In 2010, LSRJ launched the Reproductive Justice Fellowship Program (RJFP) as a means to enhance the capacity of organizations working to influence law and policy as it relates to reproductive justice and to build a pipeline for future reproductive justice lawyers. The RJFP provides new lawyers with entry points and professional development opportunities in reproductive justice law and policy advocacy. LSRJ has now successfully selected and placed six classes of Reproductive Justice (RJ) fellows at non-profit organizations with offices in Washington D.C. For more information about the RJFP, visit: www.RJFP.lsrj.org.

The RJ Fellow will receive a $51,000 stipend and be placed at a selected organization in Washington D.C. from the end of August 2016 through August 2017. As a law school graduate with an understanding of the reproductive justice framework, the RJ Fellow will assist in research, interpretation, and application of law to aid the placement organization’s organizing, publication, and policy pursuits.

Applicants must meet the necessary qualifications and must be in their final year of law school or a recent law school graduate. (post- 2010)

All application material must be received by LSRJ by 5:00 pm PST on Tuesday, December 1, 2015
