The Sillerman Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy at The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University

Generous U is a national contest to increase awareness and involvement of students on college campuses about the importance and impact of philanthropy and philanthropic values. Activities must promote philanthropy through monetary donations toward a larger cause.

1. Eligibility: Student groups, clubs and organizations, including Greek Life associations (fraternities and sororities), may compete in Generous U if they are formally recognized by their college or university and chartered to accept the $10,000 prize as an organized entity.
2. Funding: One prize of $10,000 and one second prize of $2,500 will be awarded.
