The Nassau
County Bar Association (NCBA) is providing a WE CARE FUND Law School
Scholarship to a Touro Law student.
CRITERIA
The
student recipient must be in good academic standing, with an interest in and a
commitment to promoting diversity among the practicing bar in Nassau
County. The student must also be prepared to participate in a NCBA
committee(s) during the term of the scholarship and must have a stated desire
to practice law in Nassau County upon graduation. The amount of the
scholarship is $2,500*.
To apply:
Please submit a one page essay explaining your interest in and a commitment to
promoting diversity among the practicing bar in Nassau County and your desire
to practice law in Nassau County upon graduation. The essay should be
sent as a Word document to Erica Edwards-O’Neal at ericae@tourolaw.edu and is due by Monday,
March 14, 2016.
*Prior
recipients are not eligible for this scholarship.
