The Puerto Rican Bar Association Scholarship Program

The Puerto Rican Bar Association is pleased to announce the 2015 Puerto Rican Bar Association (PRBA) Scholarship Program for Latino law students. The PRBA, founded in New York in 1957, is one of the oldest Latino bar associations in the United States.

The PRBA awards individual scholarships ranging from $2,500 to $5,000 based on the funds raised by the PRBA.

All Latino students attending law school in New York or who are permanent residents of New York are eligible to apply.  PRBA selects recipients based on community involvement, financial need and academic promise.  All applicants must be entering their first, second, or third year (third year evening students who are entering their fourth year may also apply) of a JD degree program at an American Bar Association (ABA) approved law school. Students working towards their LL.M. are NOT eligible for this award.

All scholarship candidates must submit a complete and accurate application along with the required supplemental materials received by April 18, 2015 to be considered.
