The Touro Journal of Race, Gender and Ethnicity will be hosting a
scholarship event this spring dedicated to writings related to current issues
of race, ethnicity, gender, and sexual orientation.
ELIGIBILITY
All Touro students, staff and alumni are eligible to participate in the JRGE Spring
Symposium Unified Writing Competition (UWC).

Each competitor may submit up to two, but no more than two Articles, Notes, or Comments
pertaining to Race, Gender, Ethnicity, or Sexual Orientation. The writing must be original work
that has not previously been published, be typed in 12 point font, with 1 inch margins and be no
longer than 30 pages, inclusive of footnotes.
