This competition is conducted by the Criminal Law Section of the California Lawyers Association to honor Marshall Schulman, a criminal defense attorney who has practiced for more than 50 years. Submissions need not focus on California law but must center around criminal law or procedure. The submission need not be as formal as a law review note, making this competition ideal for 1Ls!
