Sattiraju Law Firm is pleased to announce the
2016 Sattiraju Law Firm Employment Law Scholarship. At the Sattiraju Law Firm,
we are dedicated to helping hard-working people get the just pay and treatment
they deserve. We want to expand our efforts of helping people by investing in
the next generation of lawyers.
Even though all students with plans or who are
currently attending law school are encouraged to apply, special consideration
will be given to those who plan or are specializing in employment law or who
are the immediate relative of a transport/truck driver that has been classified
as an independent contractor. We believe employment law is an especially
important area of law and want to encourage those who are committed to helping
workers.
Who
Is Eligible to Apply
Any student who will be attending an accredited
college or university in the United States by Fall 2016 is eligible to apply.
Applicants must have plans of attending law school in the future and have a
minimum GPA of 3.0.
Award
The winning recipient of the scholarship will be
announced on January 31, 2017. He or she will receive a $1,000 scholarship award,
which will be paid directly to the college or university.
Deadlines
All applications must be submitted by 11:59 PM EST
on December 30, 2016.
LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
