The Community Development Project of the Urban Justice Center is seeking several legal interest for Summer 2016. CDP supports community based organizations as they organize low- income New Yorkers in the areas of workers rights, housing, and consumer protections, as well as helping non- profits and cooperatives to form.
Eligibility
Second- year law students are encouraged to apply. Summer 2016 internships begin in late May. Interns will be expected to work 40 hours per week for a minimum of ten weeks. Positions are not paid however we are willing to work with interns to try to help them find external summer funding for their positions.
Deadline
January 11, 2016. However, applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.
