The Community Development Project (CDP) of the Urban Justice Center (UJC) seeks a second-year law student from a New York law school who is interested in a paid summer fellowship in which he/she/they will provide transactional legal services to nonprofits and worker cooperatives working on various social justice issues.
CDP's mission is to advance grassroots community groups' campaigns for social and economic justice by providing legal, technical, and research support.
This fellowship funding is provided by the New York Bar Foundation's Corporate Counsel Section Fellowship. The fellowship is valued at $6,000 and will take place in summer 2015.
DEADLINE for submission is 02/18/2015.
