2018 Honorable Charles L. Brieant, Jr. Fellowship Announcement

  • Chief Judge Colleen McMahon is pleased to announce that the Southern District of New York is accepting applications for the Honorable Charles L. Brieant, Jr. Judicial Internship for the summer of 2018.
  • The New York Bar Foundation is currently accepting applications for the Honorable Charles L. Brieant, Jr. Fellowship (1) valued at $5000.
  • The fellowship provides a $5,000 tuition credit directly to the law school of the student selected to serve as the Honorable Charles L. Brieant, Jr. Intern to the Court during the summer of 2018.
  • The scholarship is open to all first-year (1L) students and second-year (2L) students as of spring 2018 semester enrolled in a law school in the State of New York.
  • The Intern may be asked to work with other judges, clerks, and interns to complete the assigned research projects.
