Inaugural Luu-Ng Family Trust Scholarship

The National Conference of Vietnamese American Attorneys is pleased to announce the inaugural Luu-Ng Family Trust Scholarship in honor of Hai Vinh Luu and My Thi Dang in the amount of $5,000.

This scholarship is offered to Vietnamese-American law students who have demonstrated academic excellence, and commitment and dedication to the public interest and serving underprivileged communities.  Priority will be given to law students demonstrating financial or other socio-economic hardship.  The Luu-Ng Family Trust Scholarship will be presented at the 11th Annual National Conference of Vietnamese American Attorneys in Orange County, California.  The final scholarship recipient is invited, but is not required, to attend and participate in the conference in Orange County, California on September 15-16, 2017 with complimentary registration.

  

Eligibility:  Must be a student enrolled in an ABA accredited law school for the 2017-2018 school year.  Proof of enrollment is required.

  

Please send transcript, resume and a 500-word essay addressed to NCVAA/Luu-Ng Family Trust Scholarship Committee to NCVAA2017@gmail.com.  All application materials must be received by July 10, 2017.  The awardee will be notified no later than August 10, 2017.
