The National
Law Students with Disabilities (NALSWD) is currently expanding their
membership to prospective law students and current law students. To be a
member, please join their Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/4173468419/) and
"Like" their page (https://www.facebook.com/NALSWD).
There are NO dues, the only stipulation is that you be a pre-law or law student with a
physical, emotional, psychological, or learning etc. disability.
The best way to get involved with NALSWD is to join their
national Executive Board. They held their annual conference in
Washington DC and have lots of opportunities for law students to get involved.
No prior experience is necessary and they are happy to work with students to find
ways to be involved that fit with their talents and time commitments.
They are collecting applications for 2014-2015 Executive Board
positions through April 13th.
