SALT-12 Months of Diversity Opportunities

How to Use this Resource:
The following is a comprehensive listing of diversity scholarships, clerkships, mentorships, internships, conventions and job fairs available to law students. The definition of what constitutes a diverse applicant varies significantly among the various opportunities. Often the opportunities are specific to persons of a particular racial, ethnic, religious or socio-economic background, women, or persons that identify as LGBT. However, just as often, opportunities are available to persons who are advancing the cause of diversity within their community, without regard to the individual’s own diversity status, or to persons that have faced adversity and thereby have a diverse perspective on life and the practice of law.

The opportunities are arranged according to the due date for submission of application materials so any opportunities that are interesting to you should be explored well in advance of the month in which they are listed. Any questions about these opportunities can be directed to the sponsoring organization or to your Career Development Office advisor.
