Black Women in Entertainment Law (BWEL) Scholarship Application



Black Women in Entertainment Law (BWEL) is offering one (1) scholarship grant of $4,000 to currently matriculated law students. BWEL may grant an additional runner up a 2,000 scholarship. To qualify for a scholarship, the applicant must be a woman of color enrolled in law school on a full-time or part-time basis, have completed at least 24 credits of law school, have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5, and be in good academic standing at the time of the application (no form of probation).

Interested students are required to submit an answer to the essay question posed on the application, along with a completed application, copy of your resume and an official copy of your law school transcript.

The scholarship application packet and ALL application materials must be submitted to BWEL at the following address and postmarked on or before April 26, 2013.
