New Study Abroad Programs at Hofstra

Hofstra Law School is proud to offer two new exciting study abroad opportunities. We carefully selected the dates of the programs for the beginning and end of summer break so that students could participate in these programs and still have the opportunity to engage in meaningful employment during the summer. Both of these programs offer three credits of course work (one 1-credit course and one 2-credit course).

The International and Comparative Law Program takes place in Pisa, Italy from May 24 to June 7, 2009 and is co-sponsored by Hofstra Law School and the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna. The Scuola Superiore is an autonomous public university located in the heart of the old city of Pisa in the charmed Tuscany region of Italy. The program will be taught by full-time professors from Hofstra and faculty members of the host institution. For more info: http://law.hofstra.edu/Pisa

The International Criminal Law Program takes place in Freiburg, Germany from July 26 to August 9, 2009 and is co-sponsored by the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law. The Max Planck Institute is dedicated to researching the fields of German, foreign, and international criminal law and criminology. Freiburg, known for its scenic beauty, is situated in the Black Forest area of southwestern Germany. For more info: http://law.hofstra.edu/Freiburg
