New York Bar Foundation Fellowships


The New York Bar Foundation is currently accepting applications for the following fellowships: 


Antitrust Section Law Student Fellowship

Value: $6,000           Deadline: February 7, 2020

The Fellowship will be awarded to up to four current first (1L) or second (2L) year law students to work on antitrust and related matters in the public and private sector in the State of New York during the Summer of 2020.



Jana Springer Behe Corporate Counsel Section Fellowship

Value: $7,000           Deadline: February 7, 2020

The fellowship will be awarded to one second year (2L) law student from a New York law school from under-represented groups capable of fulfilling the requested work hours and responsibilities.  The fellowship will take place at Disability Rights New York, Albany, New York during the summer of 2020.



Senior Lawyers Section Fellowship

Value: $5,000           Deadline: February 7, 2020

The fellowship will be awarded to a New York Law student (1L, 2L, 3L) who is a member of the New York State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section to intern with a legal service agency to work on legal needs of seniors during the summer of 2020.



Trusts and Estates Law Section Fellowship

Value: $5,000           Deadline: February 7, 2020

The Fellowship will be awarded to two first-year (1L) or second-year (2L) law students who are currently enrolled in law schools in the State of New York to work in trusts and estates law positions in the public sector in the State of New York during the summer of 2020.



Honorable Charles L. Brieant, Jr. Fellowship

Value: $5,000           Deadline: March 20, 2020

The fellowship is open to all first year (1L) students and second year (2L) students as of spring 2020 semester enrolled in a law school in the State of New York.
