The Hispanic National Bar Association - NY Region is pleased to announce the 2012 scholarships for Latino law students. Deadline to apply is June 15, 2012.
All Latino students attending law school in New York are eligible to apply. The HNBA-NY Region will select recipients based on financial need and academic accomplishments. Scholarship recipients will be contacted directly by the HNBA-NY Region. The amount of the Scholarship Award is between $1,000-$1,500 (may vary):
All applicants must be law students in a JD degree program at an American Bar Association (ABA) approved law school.
All scholarship candidates must submit the required materials by June 15, 2012 to be considered (either submit the application by email by June 15th or post mark your application by June 15th).

Scholarship recipients will be notified by the end of June 2012.
Application Requirements
1. Official Transcript. Please submit a copy of your latest official transcript.
2. Resume.
3. Personal Statement. A personal statement discussing your career goals, school and public interest/community activities, and any activities demonstrating your commitment to the Latino community.
4. Recommendation Letters. Optional. You have the option of also submitting up to two letters of recommendation. Letters should specifically comment on your academics, professional skills and/or public interest/community work.
