The Nassau County Bar Association (NCBA) is running an important program on February 18, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm designed to help Haitians with respect to issues including Temporary Protective Status (TPS).
NCBA is in need of volunteers including those who are able to speak French and also Creole. They need non-attorneys who can translate and attorneys who can both translate and volunteer their time.
Those who are interested and are attorneys can attend a training program set for February 9th.
Anyone interested should contact David Gabor, (516) 248-2525.
